If you've been affected by COVID-19, Work and Income may be able to provide financial support. Their financial support applies to individuals and employers.


Inland Revenue Department

Tax relief and income assistance is available to people affected by the downturn in business due to the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). The IRD have a range of ways to help depending on your circumstances.


NZ Customs Service and Immigration New Zealand

New Zealand Customs Service and Immigration New Zealand control the nation’s border. To remain updated on the travel restrictions for citizens, residents and foreign nationals entering Aotearoa, use these two sites.


Currently Abroad - SafeTravel

SafeTravel is the official registration facility for New Zealanders travelling or living offshore. If you are currently outside of New Zealand, make sure you register. Doing so ensures that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade knows the whereabouts of our citizens, can update you on the situation and can assist with return to NZ if required.
