New Zealand is now at Orange

What's the latest?

The government has moved New Zealand to Orange on the Traffic Light System.

Mandates have been removed for sectors outside heath, care homes, corrections, and border workers.

If you test positive, isolate for 7 days, members of your household need to isolate with you.

Mask requirements remain in place across retail, public transport and healthcare services.

What does it mean for your business?

There is no longer a capacity limit for events, with seating and distancing requirements removed for both indoor and outdoor hospitality.

The My Vaccine Pass system will not longer be required to participate in the Traffic Light System, but private businesses may choose to require a vaccine pass.

Government support is now available for businesses who can prove losses, and isolating employees can be eligible for the leave support scheme.
