ACC is proud to support Healthy 2020. Your people are your most valuable asset. So helping support the wellbeing of your people is one of the most important things you can do. We understand the links between a work environment which focuses on the health and wellbeing of your people, and how that can positively impact on your bottom line, including your ACC levy. We’re looking forward to sharing our insights and experiences on this important topic.

Martin began his health and safety career as a business consultant and trainer with ACC. His brief was to help "at-risk" industry sectors e.g. meat processing, forestry, wood processing, supermarkets and hospitals – build their health and safety capability specifically in terms of the ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices (WSMP) programme and the ACC Partnership Plan. His clients varied from NZ's largest corporations through to small family businesses. Martin has also worked as a practitioner for labour hire businesses, Meridian Energy and several Government departments setting up health and safety systems and undertaking independent audits to tertiary level. For the last 5 years he has been Business Central’s principal H&S trainer and known to many of you!
